Chosen by the residents themselves, this award recognizes a teacher, preceptor, or mentor whose dedication, clarity, and passion for teaching have significantly enriched the learning experience. Through their guidance, support, and commitment, this individual has helped shape the professional growth and success of our residents.

Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond in their dedication to supporting the Preventive Medicine Residency Program. This award honors outstanding contributions that may span a wide range of activities—whether through administrative support, mentorship, teaching, advocacy, community partnership, or behind-the-scenes efforts that strengthen the program’s mission. Selected by the residency leadership, this award is given in appreciation of their exceptional commitment. This individual embodies the spirit of service and has made a lasting, positive impact on the residency and its residents.
