Karina Atwell

Karina Atwell, MD, MPH, DipABLM is an Associate Professor and Family Medicine Residency faculty at the UW Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. She is also boarded in Public Health and General Preventive Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. She is a graduate of the UW Preventive Medicine Residency Program (’06). Karina is a primary care physician at UW Health Verona Family Medicine Clinic and supervises residents and medical students in outpatient and inpatient clinical environments. Her interests include expansion of lifestyle medicine practice and teaching, and bridging gaps between community health, public health and primary care. Karina interacts with Preventive Medicine residents as a guest lecturer and mentor to residents interested in more in-depth lifestyle medicine training.
