Tom Van Gilder

Dr. Van Gilder is the Chief Medical Officer of BetterUp, a mental fitness coaching company and an Adjunct Professor at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Tom is a senior, strategic health care executive who has been a key influencer in providing products and tools to support population health management at the moment of decision and point of care. A physician board certified in internal medicine and public health and general preventive medicine, and an intellectual property attorney, Tom has been able to operate from a vantage point that offers context that others might not see. Dr. Van Gilder is a faculty member and serves on the Residency Program Evaluation Committee.
